 At the age of 4, started to compete in cutting riding Poco Lena in first show. |
At 6 years old, starts breaking his own horses. | |||

| Starts roping with Terry Riddle. | Goes to work for the Boyd Ranch working cattle and
seeding by hand on horseback; starts team roping with Greg Welch. |
Goes to work in the oil fields
